Nanalysis’ Webinar #2 in Mnova Webinar Series

The folks at Mestrelab have been hosting a great webinar series featuring talks from various NMR vendors on applications, with a heavy emphasis on the growing field of benchtop spectroscopy.

Garett Leskowitz introduced the NMReady in the first seminar and gave an overview of a few example applications. In this second seminar I will go into a little more detail, highlighting a specific application – the Wittig reaction – where we show the utility of 60 MHz spectroscopy for both structural elucidation and quantification. The results are rationalized using high-field NMR data, Gaussian calculations, and 2 Mnova plug-ins: NMRPredict and Simple Mixture Analysis (SMA).
